Image from Google Image Duduk di kursi deretan paling belakang dan tepat ditengah membuat saya menyatakan bahwa inilah 'best watching experience in cinema' saya yang pernah ada. Terlebih filmnya adalah GRAVITY . Awalnya saya tidak tahu film ini mau menyuguhkan apa. Tapi seiring dengan rasa penasaran dan animo masyarakat akan film ini yang tinggi, saya memilih untuk menghabiskan week-end saya di bioskop untuk menonton film yang bergenre Science-Fiction tersebut. Sejak awal menonton film ini, saya tercengang dibuatnya. Dan tentu satu hal yang terbesit dalam pikiran saya adalah, "Bagaimana cara pengambilan gambarnya?", lalu "Bagaimana pula menyunting film ini?". Menurut saya, Gravity merupakan salah satu film yang berkualitas. Baik dari segi bobot ceritanya maupun teknik pengambilan gambar, hingga efek suara, dan efek cahayanya. Image from Google Image Ketertarikan saya menonton film ini sebenarnya bukan karna lihat reviewnya terlebih dahulu. Melainkan dari sebuah kuis aplikasi yang ada di iPhone dimana kuis tersebut memaksa kita menjawab judul film berdasarkan poster film tersebut. Ketika poster We're The Millers muncul, saya tidak bisa menjawab karena memang saya tidak mengenal poster film ini. Saya pikir itu film The Jonesses, tapi ternyata bukan itu, karena The Jonesses juga mempunyai poster dengan menampilkan 4 orang.  Setelah beberapa minggu kemudian, saya makin penasaran. Lalu, ketika saya berada di tempat rental film, saya melihat poster tersebut dan ternyata judulnya We're The Millers. Kemudian tidak lama saya merental film tersebut dan menontonnya.  Jujur, kesan pertama menonton film ini adalah berbeda dari genre kebanyakan. Secara ide saya rasa tidak terlalu "out of the box" tapi secara keseluruhan film ini benar-benar membuat saya tertawa terpingkal-pingkal, benar-ben

Awal nonton film ini, jelas siapa yang tidak teriak-teriak melihat wajah tampan Herjunot Ali. Lebih lagi paras cantiknya Pevita Pearce yang tidak ada duanya. Saya suka aksen Junot yang memerankan tokoh Zainuddin sebagai orang Bugis yang merantau ke tanah Minang. Saya juga suka aksen padang Pevita yang memerankan tokoh Hayati sebagai anak asli Minang. Hanya saja saya agak menyesal karena proses dari mata turun ke hati alias proses jatuh cintanya si Zainuddin dan Hayati begitu cepat, bahkan menurut saya terlalu cepat sampai mungkin kalau dihitung adegan sumpah dan cinta mati Hayati kurang dari menit ke 30. Kemudian, secara teknis pengambilan gambar (saya masih belajar tentang proses produksi film), sudah cukup memuaskan. Tidak banyak gambar yang tidak continuity atau banyak bloopers. Scoringnya juga saya suka. Nidji yang mengisi soundtrack disini sangat cocok, saya suka soundtrack yang banyak ritme dentumannya atau banyak beat-nya.
